Bumper Stickers
This morning on my way into law school I saw a car with a bumper sticker that said “Breathe” with a tiny snowflake next to the text. I have no idea what the point was, but I thought to myself, that’s pretty good advice. Wouldn’t want to stop breathing. It also made me think of Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, who as individuals and as a couple strike me as extremely fake.
Another car had a bumper sticker that said “The Meek Ain’t Gonna Inherit Shit.” What do you suppose is the point of that bumper sticker? Anti-Jesus? Anti-Christian? Anti-Christian philosophy? Or anti-meekness?
In any case, who would want to inherit shit?

My husband and I had the distinct pleasure of meeting both Tim McGraw and Faith Hill in Calgary two years ago, they were the kindest most caring people we have ever had the pleasure to meet, his sister had arranged for us to meet Tim,however Faith came out just because she wanted to and let me tell you a nicer more caring couple we have never met, they really do love each other and have the kindest of hearts so you should know a person perhaps before you go saying things. Just a thought.

Carole, sounds like you had some quality time with Faith and Tim and got to “know them as persons.” I should have known that they are as perfect as they appear to be.
In my defense, you’ll note that I said, they “strike me as fake.” Subtle, but important qualification implying that they appear fake to me.
